Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose. A giant purple building in San Jose’s Discovery Meadow Park, the Children's Discovery Museum presents innovative, interactive exhibits that nurture the cognitive development and education of children. San Jose Historical Museum. The San Jose Historical Museum in downtown San Jose’s Kelley Park features 27 original and reconstructed homes, businesses, and landmarks highlighting the culture and history of San Jose and the Santa Clara Valley. Triton Museum of Art. Highlighting Bay Area artists, the Triton Museum in Santa Clara exhibits contemporary and historical works. Permanent collections include rotating exhibits of 19th and 20th century American art, including one of the largest public holdings of paintings by Theodore Wores, and Southwest Native American tribal art. San Jose’s Peralta Adobe - Fallon House. This historic site offers a unique look into San Jose's Mexican and Spanish history through the daily lives of two prominent early San Jose families. The adobe, built in 1797, is the last remaining structure from El Pueblo de San Jose & de Guadalupe.
